About Me



Professional Inspection Services
   U.S. Inspect™, 1993 to present. District and Regional manager for and shareholder in the largest employee-based inspection services firm in the United States. U.S. Inspect operates in three principal segments - Residential, Corporate & Commercial Services.
Providing clients with more than 10 inspection types, including home inspections, radon testing, wood destroying organism inspections, and other specialty inspection types.


Overview:
   Regional Manager, 1998 - 2009. Philadelphia (Delaware Valley), Connecticut and Massachusetts Operations. Manage inspection services operations for the Northeast Corridor.

   Technical Director, 1994 to 1999. Coordinated technical activities, with emphasis in the development of Corporate relocation home inspection services.

   Owner, The Inspector, Inc., 1972 to 1998. Personally performed more than 12,000 full, fee paid residential and commercial inspections since 1972. Company performed more than 40,000 full, fee paid inspections in the Delaware Valley.


Building Contractor
   All phases of general contracting, remodeling, new construction and fire damaged structures; 1966 to 1984.


Litigation Services

   Qualified as expert witness in various construction defect cases. Technical support provided. Testified for plaintiffs and defendants as a residential building inspector.

   Qualified as expert in building cost projections and analysis, roofing, water intrusion, heating, plumbing, air conditioning and electrical systems.

   Evaluation of deteriorated systems due to lack of maintenance and repairs over period of years.

   Analysis and review of building plans for construction defects and inequities.

Consultation Services
   Plan review, construction site consultation, cost analysis and estimating.

   Construction defect evaluation and costs to correct; residential and light commercial.
